Michael J. Ford, MD, FAAD

Dr. Michael J. Ford is a board certified dermatologist who graduated in 1982 from the University of Florida Medical School with Alpha Omega Alpha honors society membership. He completed his internship and family practice residency at the University of Alabama. He then completed a dermatology residency at the University of North Carolina (Chapel Hill) where he served as Chief Resident. Dr. Ford joined the faculty at the University of Florida (Shands) where he was a professor from 1991 to 1999. He was instrumental in helping start the University of Florida Dermatology Residency. In 1999, he entered private practice in Tallahassee. He loves teaching and continues to share his knowledge with family practice residents, internal medicine students and FSU medicine students. Outside of Southeastern Dermatology, Dr. Ford enjoys mountain biking, hiking, and spending time with his family. He and his wife, Elaine, have two children and two grandchildren. Dr. Ford is affiliated with the following organizations:

Brandon Bergschneider,
PA-C
Originally from Fort Walton Beach, FL, Brandon graduated from Florida State University in 2002. He briefly pursued a career in business before he realized he was born to practice medicine. While taking his pre-requisite courses, he worked as a medical assistant at Southeastern Dermatology for 3 years. In 2011, he was accepted into Nova Southeastern University’s PA program, and went on to graduate with honors. He was rehired at Southeastern Dermatology in 2013, this time as a certified physician assistant. Being a lifelong Seminole fan, it comes as no surprise Brandon loves his Noles. Brandon began playing golf early in his life, so running into him on the links isn’t uncommon. Spending time with his wife and children, however, is what he loves and values most.
David Yorio, PA-C
David was a native New Yorker before heading south to obtain his bachelor’s degree from Florida State University in 1999. After a brief career in pharmaceutical sales, David realized that his true passion is medicine and began pursuing a master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies at the University of South Alabama. Upon graduation in 2016, he returned home to Tallahassee as the newest member of the Southeastern Dermatology team. A self-proclaimed outdoor enthusiast, David enjoys running, mountain biking, hiking, kayaking, and adventuring to new and exciting places around the world. He’s thrilled at being back in Tallahassee and looks forward to serving this community for many years, making a difference in the patients he’s privileged to care for.

Chris was a US Navy Corpsman for 6 years before earning a Bachelor of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Pennsylvania College of Technology – Penn State Affiliate. Chris joined the Southeastern Dermatology team in July 2005. Married with five “furry K-9 children”, Chris is a self-proclaimed Master Rock Hound, outdoor adventurist, and avid seeker of mind enriching experiences.
Justine Lorenzo,
Medical Aesthetician
Justine has been working in skincare for over 10 years and serves as our Medical Aesthetician and Cosmetic Consultant. She began her career early on, graduating from Career Training Solutions and Avi Career Training Solution specializing in Medical Aesthetics, in 2010 in Northern Virginia. She recently joined us from a top plastic surgery practice in Atlanta. Justine finds joy in studying the latest technology and products on the aesthetics market, assuring our patients receive the best the industry has to offer. She has perfected the craft of microdermabrasion, micro-needling, advanced chemical peels, and laser treatments; including Radio Frequency, Sub-ablative procedures. She has been trained to work with top product lines such as: Revision, SkinMedica, Skinceuticals, and much more. She loves to educate each patient on the importance of proper skincare, techniques, products, and solutions. Justine specializes in acneic, anti-aging, skin discoloration, and diverse skin types.
In her spare time, Justine loves enjoys art and loves to create pottery and paintings. She loves adventures and traveling. She dreams of one day exploring the Asian continent.
